After six consecutive years of advertising during the Super Bowl, Avocados From Mexico and its celebrity-dominated ads will not be a part of the 2021 game. Celebrities who have appeared in Super Bowl ads for Avocados From Mexico include Molly Ringwald, Kristin Chenoweth and Chris Elliot.

WeatherTech Returns to the Super Bowl

WeatherTech is returning to the Super Bowl for the eighth consecutive year. During the two previous Super Bowls, WeatherTech's spots were canine focused, including a story about Scout, a member of CEO David MacNeil's family, who battled a rare form of cancer.

Mars Wrigley Is First to Enter the Super Bowl

Mars Wrigley became the first brand to confirm it would be buying a Super Bowl ad slot in late August. The company has not yet announced which of its brands will be represented during the Big Game. Mars Wrigley has also not revealed how much time it bought, or when its ad would air. No creative details about the spot are available. It did reveal that it plans on "reinventing cultural moments for our times."

Last year, Mars Wrigley aired a 30-second spot called #SnickersFixesTheWorld. In previous years, M&Ms and Skittles have also purchased air time during the Super Bowl.

After Going to Space in 2020, Olay Won't Play in 2021

Olay, one of the few female-targeted brands to advertise in the Big Game, will not be participating in this year's Super Bowl.

Building on the momentum the skincare brand created around making space for women during Super Bowl 2020 with an out-of-this-world ad featuring female astronauts, Olay announced its marketing efforts over the next 10 years will address the gender gap in STEM education and jobs.

This winter, the Procter & Gamble-owned company, which has been part of the Super Bowl for the past two years, plans to focus on commemorating Feb. 11, International Day of Women and Girls in STEM.

Toyota Is Back in the Game for the 4th Year Running

For the fourth year in a row, Toyota plans to appear in the Big Game. "Toyota will be part of the advertising lineup for Super Bowl LV 2021 on CBS," Jack Hollis, senior vice president of automotive operations at Toyota Motor North America, said in a statement. The automaker declined to release additional details, but this will be the company's ninth appearance in the past decade. Last year’s ad from Saatchi & Saatchi starred Cobie Smulders as a blockbuster hero saving the day in her Highlander.

TurboTax Returns to the Super Bowl for the 8th Consecutive Year

TurboTax has secured its spot in the 2021 Super Bowl.

The tax preparation software is participating in the Big Game for the eighth year in a row, but has not yet announced any creative details on an ad or how much time it has bought. Last year, TurboTax teamed up with Wieden+Kennedy Portland for "All People Are Tax People," an upbeat 45-second spot highlighting TurboTax's services for potential customers.

Pringles Returns With a Fresh New Look

Pop a can, Pringles is back for its fourth consecutive year.

The snack brand is running a 30-second spot created by the Grey Group during the first half of the game. This will be the first ad highlighting the brand's updated packaging and logo.

Building on past years, Pringles will once again focus on flavor stacking—the act of combining different potato chips to form a unique taste in the mouth.

M&Ms Is Back in the Big Game for the 6th Time in the Past Decade

After taking a year off, M&Ms will return to the Super Bowl in 2021.

The Mars Wrigley candy brand is set to air a 30-second spot created by BBDO New York during the first commercial break following kickoff.

The company has yet to reveal additional details about the content of the ad. In past years, M&Ms's Super Bowl spots have featured celebrities Christina Applegate and Danny DeVito.

Mountain Dew Set to Appear in the Big Game

PepsiCo's Mountain Dew will run a commercial during the upcoming Super Bowl. The beverage brand declined to share more details at the moment.

During the 2020 Super Bowl, Mountain Dew aired a 30-second spot, created by TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, starring Bryan Cranston and Tracee Ellis Ross. The two recreated one of The Shining’s most famous scenes.
