Discover Corona's ingenious fake out-of-home advertising: a giant hammock illusion in Lima, Peru, captivating the city and social media alike!

Can you imagine being able to take a nap in a giant hammock suspended between two buildings in the heart of the city? Well, Corona made it possible in Lima, Peru, with a "fake out-of-home advertising" campaign that is causing quite a stir.

The Stunning Campaign of "Fake Out-of-Home Advertising" That Has Lima (Peru) on Everyone's Lips

Taking a nap in a hammock when the sun is blazing (and also when the weather isn't so generous with sunlight) is an experience very close to nirvana, especially when you have a nice cold beer to quench your thirst. Corona, aware of the absolute magnetism of hammocks, has devised an innovative strategy: installing a colossal one between two buildings in Lima, Peru.

An Illusion That Captivated Everyone

However, the only disappointment of this phenomenal idea is that the hammock in question, unfortunately, is not real. It's a product of the currently popular trend of "fake out-of-home advertising," which is sweeping social media.

A Heated Debate on Social Media

Corona deployed its XL hammock between two buildings in the Miraflores neighborhood, one of the favorite districts for shopping lovers in the Peruvian capital. And just like a real hammock, it swayed, cast shadows on the buildings, and encouraged passersby to comfortably recline on it.

Behind the Magic

The campaign, conceived by Publicis Peru, required meticulous planning by the teams involved. "The real challenge was finding the perfect location and ensuring that the integration of CGI seemed absolutely realistic," explains Beto Noriega, chief creative officer of Publicis Peru. "We conducted many tests both technically and artistically, and 3D tracking was absolutely key, as it allowed us to integrate virtual elements with camera movement and achieve the hyperrealism we wanted to achieve," he adds.

Successful Collaborators

Beyond Publicis Peru, Zenith (media), The Pub (production), and Digitas (digital creativity and influence) also participated in this striking Corona campaign.

A Memorable Experience

This video is part of Corona's "This is living" campaign, which in Spain is produced and distributed by the Spanish beer group Mahou San Miguel.

Imagine the surprise and excitement of those who encountered this wonderful illusion in the heart of Lima! Although fleeting, the experience of Corona's giant hammock will undoubtedly be etched in the memories of those who lived it, once again demonstrating the creative and viral power of innovative advertising campaigns.
