La Región, in collaboration with the airline Volotea, has launched an innovative outdoor advertising campaign to promote direct flights between the International Airport of the Region of Murcia and the Barcelona hub.
Creating Spectacular Communication
This initiative, in conjunction with the marketing and communication plan implemented by the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia with the airline to enhance direct air links from Madrid and Barcelona to Murcia, employs CGI technology to create a spectacular communication effect. In this instance, a giant canvas was deployed at the Arc de Triomf in Barcelona, creating the illusion of reality.
Engaging with 'Fake Out of Home Advertising'
Known as 'Fake Out of Home Advertising', this technique is a trending form of outdoor advertising that generates immersive digital content, capable of simulating highly engaging real-world experiences. It fosters participation and possesses significant viral potential on social media platforms.
Expanding Direct Flight Connections
In addition to Madrid and Barcelona, during this summer season, the Region offers direct air connections within Spain to Bilbao, Oviedo, Santander, Menorca, and Gran Canaria. In the first quarter of this year, national passengers at the Airport of the Region of Murcia witnessed a 124.6 percent increase, totaling 19,183 passengers.
