The National Gallery and AIP launch an OOH campaign in London spotlighting iconic artworks with bold detail and inclusive access for all audiences.
A Bold Campaign Celebrating a National Treasure
The National Gallery has joined forces with Anything is Possible to unveil a powerful out-of-home (OOH) activation in London’s Tottenham Court Road. This marks the reopening of the Gallery’s Sainsbury Wing and celebrates the rehang of the UK’s national art collection through an exhibition titled C C Land: The Wonder of Art.
Art Reimagined for Every Eye
More than just an exhibition, this initiative positions the Gallery as a place of surprise and inclusivity. By presenting tight, close-up crops of masterpieces — from Monet’s brushwork to Titian’s color and Caravaggio’s drama — the campaign encourages all passers-by to look again, rediscover, and “see the bigger picture.”
The rehang includes over a thousand artworks enhanced with new lighting, interpretation guides, and a state-of-the-art audio experience. It's an invitation to enjoy art not as a passive viewer, but as an active participant in the national story.
OOH Activation That Captures Attention
The heart of the campaign lies in its location: London’s busy shopping district. High-impact outdoor installations draw attention through their unexpected perspectives, reminding everyone — from seasoned connoisseurs to first-time visitors — that the Gallery is a space for them.
As the campaign highlights: “Your Paintings. Your National Gallery.”
More Than a Moment — A Movement
This year-long initiative will continue across 2025, using large-scale OOH placements to amplify awareness and spark engagement. With works from Leonardo, Raphael, Rembrandt, Artemisia Gentileschi, Turner, and many more, the experience is both timeless and timely.
