Revolt Rebrands Social Mobility Foundation for FutureRevolt modernizes the Social Mobility Foundation’s brand to better connect with diverse, younger audiences as it approaches its 20th anniversary.

A new visual identity for a new era

The creative agency Revolt has led a bold rebranding for the Social Mobility Foundation, reflecting its commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and social impact. Launched on June 12 for Social Mobility Day, the new visual identity comes as the foundation prepares for its 20th anniversary.

The refreshed brand aims to connect more powerfully with a broad audience — from teenagers on social media to government policymakers. It replaces outdated design elements with a vibrant, modern, and unified identity system.

Connecting with new generations, without losing essence

Revolt approached the rebrand as an evolution rather than a revolution. By merging the most effective elements from the Foundation’s previous branding, they created a refined and youthful visual system.

At the core of the redesign is a new navigational mark that symbolizes the many directions young people can take in life. This flexible symbol can be adapted in circular patterns, as framing for imagery, or as expanding crop marks that express dynamism and diversity.

A scalable and functional design system

The new identity allows the Social Mobility Foundation to seamlessly apply its brand across printed materials, social content, presentations, and digital platforms. As Sophie Gregory, Strategic Communications Manager, shared:

“Our refreshed brand, developed by Revolt, truly reflects the Social Mobility Foundation’s relationship with its community. We’re navigating this journey with every student, supporter, partner, and volunteer.”

Will Reuben, Senior Designer at Revolt, added:

“Social mobility is lived in countless, deeply personal ways. This brand is built to be scalable, accessible, and contemporary — empowering the foundation to break more barriers and reach more young people.”

Design for change and visibility

Through this rebrand, the Social Mobility Foundation positions itself for greater visibility and deeper engagement in a world where standing out is essential to drive meaningful change.
