Electric Theatre Collective, the renowned London-based creative studio, has officially landed in the United States, opening a brand-new headquarters in the heart of New York City. This marks a significant milestone for the award-winning company, known globally for pushing the boundaries of visual effects, colour, design, and creative storytelling.

Situated at 166 Crosby Street, right above the buzzing Café Lyria, Electric’s New York studio promises to replicate the vibrancy, innovation, and artistic integrity of its London counterpart. The expansion reflects Electric’s long-standing commitment to growth, talent cultivation, and delivering cutting-edge work to clients across the globe.

A Visionary Leader at the Helm

Spearheading the launch is Antonia Vlasto, newly appointed Managing Director of Electric Theatre Collective New York. With over seven years of experience as Executive Producer at Electric’s London studio, Antonia brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and an intimate understanding of the company’s creative DNA.

Speaking on the launch, Antonia shared:
“The launch of Electric in New York is a very special one for us. Not only does it mark a pivotal moment for the Collective, but we’re doing it with some of the best in the industry.”

She emphasizes the importance of staying true to Electric’s identity, blending creativity with culture, and creating a space that resonates with the studio's long-standing values of excellence and collaboration.

A Track Record of Award-Winning Innovation

Since its inception in 2011, Electric Theatre Collective has steadily built a reputation for delivering revolutionary creative work. The studio has worked on globally recognized campaigns including Coca-Cola’s ‘Masterpiece’, ‘The Heroes’, and the trailblazing ‘Cash In Cash Out’ video, which earned them the first-ever D&AD Black Pencil for VFX.

Their trophy shelf includes multiple prestigious accolades, such as four VES Awards and the coveted Ad Age Creativity Award for VFX Company of the Year in 2024—a title they are once again shortlisted for this year. Their recent collaboration on GoDaddy’s 2025 Super Bowl commercial featuring Walton Goggins has only cemented their reputation as an industry leader.

Building a Powerhouse Team in the Big Apple

Electric’s New York launch is bolstered by an impressive lineup of top-tier producers, artists, and creative talent. Joining Antonia is EP Polly Durrance, transitioning from the London office, and Chris Connolly, based in New York, also stepping into the role of Executive Producer.

The team has further been strengthened with experienced professionals from The Mill NY:

  • Katherine Miccio and Dara O Cairbre (Senior Producers)

  • Renato Carone and Ruairi Twohig (2D VFX Supervisors)

  • Jaymin Han (Compositor)

Additionally, Kyle Cody joins as Creative Director from Harbor, bringing a strong portfolio that includes high-profile Super Bowl campaigns for Oreo and Ritz. Kyle expressed his excitement, saying:
“The London studio has set the standard for visual excellence... We’re not just showing up, we’re raising the bar.”
